Lindane Landfill Cleanup in Ohis, North Macedonia to Continue for Three More Years

The cleanup of a small lindane landfill in Ohis, North Macedonia, is expected to take at least three more years. Investigations show 636 tons of lindane, 2,613 tons of contaminated soil, 1,120 tons of contaminated concrete, and about 70 tons of mercury remain.
