EU buys nearly all Russian LNG due to sanctions loophole

Despite sanctions, the European Union has purchased almost all of Russia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the first five months of this year, with 114 tankers heading to European ports compared to just four to China, exploiting a loophole in EU regulations.
