Nigerian Lawmakers Advance State Police Reform to Curb Insecurity

Nigeria's parliament has passed a constitutional bill that paves the way for each of its 36 states to establish and operate its own police force alongside the federal Nigeria Police Force, in an effort to curb insecurity.
