Red alert for rain after dust storms, strong winds hit Delhi-NCR

Delhi-NCR experienced dust storms and strong winds Tuesday afternoon, prompting the India Meteorological Department to issue a red alert. Severe thunderstorms, lightning, and squally winds up to 100 kmph are anticipated across most of the capital in the coming hours. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in isolated areas. Authorities have been alerted to take necessary precautions.
