Microplastics Found in Deep-Sea Animals in Indian Ocean

A recent study has revealed that microplastics have infiltrated remote deep-sea hydrothermal vent ecosystems globally, with ninety-two percent of examined deep-sea animals in the Indian Ocean showing high levels of contamination, primarily with polystyrene.
