The city of Riga has decided to increase its tourism tax starting next year. Currently, Riga has one of the lowest tourism taxes in Europe, at one euro per night.

No nākamā gada Rīgā palielinās tūrisma nodevu. Par to trešdien, 8. jūlijā, lēma domnieki. Pašlaik galvaspilsētā ir viena no zemākajām tūrisma nodevām Eiropā – viens eiro par nakti. Viļņā, Kauņā un Palangā tā ir 2 eiro par nakti, bet citās – vēl augstāka. Arī Kuldīgā no šā gada ieviesta nodeva 1,5 eiro par nakti.
