An Irish Garda, David Reynolds (45), based in Westmeath, is facing accusations in court of domestic abuse, including recording conversations, installing a tracker on his wife's phone, and ordering her to stay at home. Judge Keenan Johnson commented on his 'very old-fashioned attitude'.
