Ebola outbreak in DR Congo and Uganda intensifies, prompting border closures and global containment warnings
Uganda has closed its border with the Democratic Republic of Congo to contain a rare Ebola strain as the outbreak worsens, with the WHO warning that the disease is outpacing containment efforts amid conflict. An Ebola alert has also been issued in Gujarat, India, after a man arriving from Congo was quarantined.
