AfCFTA built on decades of African integration efforts – Dr Fareed Arthur

Senior Technical Advisor on African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Implementation Committees, Dr Fareed Arthur, has outlined the historical foundations of the continental trade framework, describing it as the culmination of decades of efforts to deepen Africa’s economic integration and reduce reliance on external support.
