Ringgit opens nearly flat against US$ amid cautious FX sentiment. The local unit was quoted at 4.7100/7150 against the greenback at the market open compared with 4.7105/7135 at Tuesday’s close. The ringgit also traded lower against other major currencies. It depreciated against the euro to 5.0860/0905 from 5.0795/0825 and weakened against the Singapore dollar to 3.4875/4910 from 3.4855/4880. The local note also fell against the Japanese yen to 3.1390/1415 from 3.1365/1385.
