Cowboys release linebacker Logan Wilson, ending his brief tenure after trade with Bengals

The Cowboys released linebacker Logan Wilson on Friday, ending his brief Dallas tenure following an in-season trade that did little to boost one of the NFL's worst defenses. Dallas is in the midst of an offseason overhaul of the defense. It started with the hiring of defensive coordinator Christian Parker to replace Matt Eberflus, who was fired after the Cowboys allowed the most points with the fewest interceptions in franchise history in his only season.
