Roman head preserved at Wellington University returned to Italy

(ANSA) - ROMA, 12 MAR - Victoria University in Wellington hosted the public presentation of a marble head depicting a Roman woman from the Antonine period (2nd century), preserved in the university's Museum of Classical Antiquities collection. The work, illegally exported from Italy, was acquired by the university in good faith in 2003.
