Ringgit opens flat vs US$, firmer against other majors - The Star

Ringgit opens flat against the US dollar but firmed up against other major currencies on Tuesday. At 9 am, the local unit stood at 4.7100/7150 against the greenback, unchanged from Monday’s close. However, it strengthened against the Singapore dollar to 3.4867/4903 from 3.4887/4917 previously, and rose against the Japanese yen to 3.1305/1334 from 3.1345/1367. It also appreciated against the British pound to 5.9595/9655 from 5.9705/9770.
