Tax cops boost controls across fuel supply chain

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 6 - The Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police) has strengthened controls across the entire fuel distribution chain, in light of the recent price increases for energy products following the outbreak of war in the Middle East, the police said Friday. The intensification of these controls was initiated at the direction of the Minister of Economy and Finance, in consultation with the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy. (ANSA).
