Latvian Parliament to Re-evaluate Law on Judges' Pensions

Following a request from the President, the Saeima will re-examine the law on judges' and prosecutors' special pensions, which aims to replace length-of-service pensions with special pensions from 2027.

Saeima ceturtdien, 26. februārī, pēc Valsts prezidenta aicinājuma lēma atkārtoti caurlūkot šī gada 12. februārī pieņemto Tiesnešu un prokuroru speciālās pensijas likumu, kas paredz prokuroriem un tiesnešiem no 2027. gada piešķirt speciālās pensijas, tādējādi aizstājot izdienas pensijas.
