AkzoNobel Rejects Joint Takeover Bid from Nippon Paint and Sherwin-Williams

Dutch paint and coatings company AkzoNobel has rejected a joint takeover offer of €12.5 billion (or €13 billion) from Japanese rival Nippon Paint and American company Sherwin-Williams. Both bidding companies are now weighing their next steps after the rejection.
