Japan Increases Imports of Russian Oil Exempt from Sanctions
Japan significantly increased its imports of Russian oil in June, tripling the amount of oil that is exempt from Western sanctions. Russian gas cargoes are also expected to remain exempt as the EU finalizes new sanctions.
