Bird Flu Outbreak in Achterhoek, Netherlands Leads to Culling of 100,000 Hens

Bird flu has been detected at a poultry farm in Neede, in the Achterhoek region of the Netherlands. Approximately 97,450 hens are being culled by the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) to prevent further spread of the virus.
