Partial patient burden for OTC-like drug prices, etc.; LDP subcommittee approves bill revision
Regarding social security system reform, a bill revision to the Health Insurance Act and other related laws, which includes adding a portion of the price of "OTC-like drugs" (drugs with similar ingredients and effects to over-the-counter drugs) to the patient's self-burden, and reflecting financial income in the insurance premiums and co-payments for medical and long-term care for people aged 75 and over, has been approved by a Liberal Democratic Party subcommittee.
