Under valgkampen sagde statsminister Mette Frederiksen, at hun støttede op om at øge antallet af værnepligtige til 13.000 årligt. Senest har forsvarschefen også anbefalet dette. Ifølge dokumenter fra Forsvaret, som Berlingske har fået indsigt i, vil det potentielt kunne påvirke op til 5.500 unge, siger ekspert.
