Sheinbaum Proposes New Name for Historic Paso de Cortés
During a National Reforestation Day event, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum proposed renaming the historic Paso de Cortés, located between the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes, to “Paso de los Pueblos Indígenas” (Pass of the Indigenous Peoples).
