Lithuania Warns Against Growing Invasive Goldenrod, Imposes Fines
Lithuanian environmentalists are warning residents not to cultivate certain species of bright yellow-flowering goldenrod, as some are invasive plants that harm local ecosystems. Growing these invasive species can result in fines ranging from 300 to 2,300 euros.
