Unidentified foam near U.S. bases in Okinawa raises PFAS concerns

A civic group in Okinawa has requested on-site investigations of U.S. military bases due to concerns over possible leaks of PFAS chemicals, after unidentified foam was found nearby. The U.S. military has declined the request.
