Presidential candidates and political parties in Nigeria, including Tinubu, Obi, and others, have signed a peace accord ahead of the 2027 elections, pledging to conduct issue-based campaigns and avoid violence. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) plans to deploy 1.4 million ad hoc staff for the elections.
