IMF Warns Middle East Conflict to Drive Up Food Prices

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) stated that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East is disrupting lives and livelihoods, and is expected to lead to an increase in food prices globally. This warning followed a meeting on April 8 between leaders of the IMF, World Bank Group, and other programs.
