Türkiye’s ancient city of Ephesus offers night visits

The ancient city of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Izmir, western Türkiye, has reopened for evening visits as part of a night museum program. As part of the night museum program, visitors can explore the ancient city, which is illuminated by special lighting, until midnight. The program, which started last year, aims to increase the number of visitors to the ancient city and to allow visitors to experience the historical site in a different atmosphere. Ephesus, which hosted approximately 1.5 million visitors last year, is one of Türkiye’s most important tourism centers.
