7 injured as firewalking ritual goes wrong during lunar eclipse at 1,300-year-old Telangana temple
Seven devotees sustained burn injuries during the Agnigundala ritual at Sri Parvathi Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Nalgonda district. Overcrowding, reportedly double the usual attendance due to a lunar eclipse, led to a stampede-like situation near the firewalking area. Two women with severe burns were transferred to Gandhi Hospital for advanced treatment.
