Divine Liturgy Canceled for Third Year at Sumela Monastery on August 15th
For the third consecutive year, the Divine Liturgy on August 15th will not be held at the historic Sumela Monastery in Pontus, as Turkish authorities only grant permission for the Nine Days of the Virgin Mary.
