Vladimir Voronin steps down as leader of Moldova's Communist Party
Vladimir Voronin has resigned as the chairman of Moldova's Party of Communists (PCRM), a position he held since its founding, and has been named honorary chairman. Parliament member Diana Caraman was elected as the party's new leader.
