Kad se zvaničnici hvale napretkom Srbije, najviše vole da govore o BDP-u, odnosno o njegovom rastu, a posebno vole da javni dug mere u odnosu na BDP. Taj broj im se sviđa. On je uglavnom tačan, ali je i prazan, jer ne kaže ništa o tome kome taj rast pripada.
