NTT Docomo to end 3G service at the end of March; other companies move to attract users

NTT Docomo will terminate its 3G service, which began in 2001 and is mainly used by 'feature phones' (garakei), at the end of March. While the company is urging users to switch models, other mobile carriers are also actively trying to attract these customers.
