Portuguese PM Montenegro States Investigations Show 'Democracy Working' Amidst Arrests
Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro declared that ongoing investigations demonstrate "democracy working" and being "more transparent and immune to prevarication." His statement came on the day the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) arrested five individuals for alleged contract irregularities in municipal councils and parish councils.
