Cambodian Honorary Consul in Sendai Accused of ¥370 Million Undisclosed Income
The Cambodian honorary consul in Sendai, responsible for issuing visas, has been accused by the Sendai National Tax Agency of failing to declare over ¥370 million in commission income from consultant contracts with multiple domestic companies. More than 20 companies that paid these consulting fees also faced tax investigations and were cited for concealing income.
