France's EDF to invest €9 billion over 15 years to adapt power plants to climate change

Heatwaves and low river flows caused by droughts have at times forced the French electricity giant to shut down or slow some of its nuclear reactors, disrupting hydropower generation. The company is working to strengthen the resilience of its facilities without compromising other uses of water resources.
