Chinese AI Model Z.ai Matches US Competitors, Offers Lower Cost
A new artificial intelligence model developed by the Chinese company Z.ai has reportedly achieved performance levels comparable to leading US models from Anthropic and OpenAI. The Chinese model is also significantly more cost-effective, operating at 6 to 8 times cheaper, and is proficient in detecting security vulnerabilities.
