GM and Chinese Automaker Extend Joint Venture for 20 Years

General Motors and its Chinese joint venture partner have extended their agreement for another 20 years, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and China. The renewed partnership will focus on domestic sales of Buick and Cadillac in China and exporting Chevrolet products built in China to non-U.S. markets.
