Arif Mansur Coşar, a faculty member in the Department of Gastroenterology at Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) School of Medicine, emphasized the importance of mindful eating during Ramadan, stating that consuming large amounts of food quickly after a long period of fasting can lead to digestive problems. He advised breaking the fast with light meals and gradually increasing food intake to avoid straining the stomach.
