Tornado fells trees in Rome

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 3 - A tornado felled trees in Rome Wednesday disrupting traffic. A market stall was blown away hitting a parked car as torrential rain hit the Italian capital. There was widespread flooding in the Nomentano, Salario and Parioli quarters, where traffic ground to a halt as water levels almost covered cars. Many other parts of Italy were hit by rainstorms and flooding Wednesday, especially in Friuli, Tuscany and Lazio. (ANSA). Read article...
