Bosnian Parties Condemn RS Law Banning Army Symbols, Announce Legal Challenge

The People and Justice (NiP) party and the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) have condemned the adoption of a draft law in Republika Srpska that foresees prison sentences for displaying symbols of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both parties announced they would pursue legal avenues, including an appeal to the Constitutional Court, to annul the law and protect the symbols.
