Ioakim Kalamaris, a Greek businessman, diplomat, and lecturer, successfully sued the Bulgarian prosecutor's office for 25,000 BGN after being extorted by the "Notary's circle." Kalamaris had previously exposed a racketeering and extortion scheme connected to the late Martin Bozhanov.
