Infantino denies affair allegation, FIFA slams ‘concerted’ effort to weaken him
FIFA on Saturday issued a statement defending its president, Gianni Infantino, against what it called a “concerted and ongoing effort” to undermine his leadership of the organisation. It came a day after a British newspaper accused the FIFA boss of paying off a fomer lover while at UEFA, allegations Infantino has categorically denied.
