Millions Appeal Eligibility for Thailand's State Welfare Card Scheme

Thailand's Finance Ministry reports that approximately 2.76 million people who did not qualify for the 2026 state welfare card scheme have appealed for a review of their eligibility, following earlier acknowledgments of database discrepancies.
