Heavy fighting underway between police, militants in KP's Bannu

BANNU: Casualties were reported on Saturday morning as heavy fighting was underway between a police peace committee and militants in the Barakzai Akhundkhel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district. Medical Teaching Institution Bannu spokesperson, Mohammad Nauman Khattab, said “three injured policemen and a martyr were brought” to the District Headquarters Hospital.
