Mirandela Nursing Home Reopens After Fatal Fire
The Bom Samaritano nursing home in Mirandela has reopened after extensive renovations. The facility was closed from August 2025 to May of this year following a fire that caused seven deaths, with works undertaken to make it suitable for residents again.
