Jau prabėgo savaitė po to, kai Donaldas Trumpas Ispanijos vyriausybę pavadino „siaubinga“ ir pagrasino nutraukti visus prekybos ryšius su Madridu, o Ispanijos lyderiai toliau niršta ant Vokietijos kanclerio Friedricho Merzo už tai, kad šis Ovaliajame kabinete nepratarė nė žodžio, kol JAV vadovas tuo metu rėžė savo tiradą apie ispanus.
