In early April, spring work began on the Žatec hop fields. Growers are finishing pruning and preparing structures for further plant growth.

Na začátku dubna začaly jarní práce na žateckých chmelnicích. Pěstitelé dokončují řez a připravují konstrukce pro další růst rostlin. Na přelomu dubna a května je pak čeká hlavní část sezony, kdy budou chmel zavádět na drátky. Podle oslovených chmelařů se jim už teď do nákladů promítají vyšší ceny nafty.
