Russian Oil Reaches EU Despite Sanctions Through Third Countries
Refined fuel deliveries derived from Russian crude oil reached a peak in EU ports in July, despite sanctions. This was largely facilitated by routes through countries like Turkey, India, and Georgia, which process Russian oil before re-exporting it to the EU.
