Women's Travelogues: 'They Don't Necessarily Write About Politics'

Gabriele Habinger from the University of Vienna has identified numerous female authors from past centuries whose travelogues offer unique perspectives on foreign countries, often focusing beyond politics, such as the report of a companion in Emperor Maximilian of Mexico's entourage.
