NPP Plans Solidarity for Jailed Chairman Wontumi as Appeal Begins

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana's Ashanti Region has announced plans for a massive show of solidarity, including a vigil, for its regional chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, as legal processes to appeal his conviction and sentencing get underway.
