6.5 yrs after bifurcation, J&K removed from Aadhaar records of Ladakh residents

After a six-year delay, Aadhaar records for Ladakh residents now correctly reflect 'Ladakh' instead of 'Jammu & Kashmir' in the state field. This long-pending correction, facilitated by the UT administration and UIDAI, resolves significant inconveniences faced by residents in accessing services and verifying their identity.
